NEW VIDEO FROM THE ROOTS

The Roots - Rising Up (Feat. Wale & Chrisette Michele)

Dropped Like A Bad Habit: The Omarion Edition

Omarion was dropped from his record label Columbia. Peep this thanks to our peeps over at Black Voices:

Singer Omarion is no longer on Columbia Records. A source at the label confirmed that the Sony imprint decided to drop the former B2K lead singer. Omarion (real name: Omari Ishmael Grandberry) signed as a solo artist to Columbia Records after B2K broke up in December 2003. His boy band was actually signed to Sony’s Epic division. Omarion’s management and production company, The Ultimate Group (TUG) has a deal with that label and released Omarion’s good friend and business partner Marques Houston’s last two CDs through Motown.

Damn O I wonder if you'd be interested in that B2K reality show now?

Hey.......Wendy's On Fox.....

Radio shock jock Wendy Williams has finally announced some concrete details about her new talk show which will be aired on Fox Networks. Peep this via Daily News:

“Wendy Williams, whose bold personality and unvarnished opinions have made her an institution on radio, will launch her long-awaited television talk show July 14 on Fox. The hour-long daily show is scheduled for a six-week run and will feature Williams interviewing prominent guests. Initially it will be seen in four cities: New York (Ch. 5), Los Angeles, Dallas and Detroit.

Williams said late last year that even though she was developing the TV show, ‘Radio is still my first love. It’s my base. I won’t give it up.’”

Can't wait to see how this plays out I love me some Wendy and all but TV is a whole other ball park! We'll see!
